I NEED FLOWERS FOR MY WEDDING,  WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
I recommend using Pinterest or looking online and gathering some pictures of inspiration. Next, contact us to schedule a free consultation to go over your ideas. I will guide your though the process, asking questions regarding sizing, colors, styles, items needed, budget, etc. By the end of our meeting we should have a good stating point and you can look forward to receiving your personalized proposal shortly. 




HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK AND WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT FEE?
Your flowers and decor are a major part of the overall look and feel of your wedding day. Once you know your wedding date, your florist should be one of the first things you book, right up there with your photographer and venue. We never take on multiple events on the same day, so dates can book up fast.

To lock in the date of your wedding there is a deposit fee of 30% of the estimated total. If there are too many details still unknown a deposit of $1500 can be used. The remainder is due 3 weeks prior to your wedding day. 

WHAT OTHER ITEMS DO YOU PROVIDE?
In addition to the flowers and foliage, we provide most things needed for complete tablescapes and unique ceremonies. This includes arches, pedestals, candles, vases, lanterns, and a bunch of other items you probably haven't even considered!  Most items can be rented by the florist to save on cost. We also partner with event rental companies in the area to ensure smooth delivery and set up. 

HOW MUCH DO 'FULL SCALE' WEDDING FLOWERS COST?
Cost varies greatly, however, allocating 10-20 percent of your overall budget is standard. Our full-service wedding clients spend anywhere between $7000 -$25000 on average. This ensures the ability to use unique, high-end flowers and foliage and really create that wow factor. We never take on more than one full-scale event at a time so we can guarantee our full attention in every detail. Travel is welcome. 


WHAT'S UP WITH A LA CARTE FLOWERS? CAN I DIY OR BUY WHOLESALE IN ADDITION TO ORDERING FROM YOU?
Sure! We are not here to gatekeep and believe that premium flowers should be available to everyone. Does this mean I can lower the cost of each flower? No. But I am happy to tell you where you can source wholesale blooms and while I can't guarantee a cohesive look, I am happy to create your bridal bouquet while your soon to be mother-in-law puts together centerpieces because she was a florist in the 90's.

DO YOU OFFER FLOWERS FOR OTHER EVENTS?
Yes, we are happy to provide flowers for a variety of corporate events, and special occasions. Please fill out the form in the event section or email us at flowers@ribbonandtwinefloral.com with your request. If you are having an elopement or smaller wedding we offer a la carte options for pick up or delivery with no minimum. Contact us to see if this option is right for you. 


CAN I ORDER FLOWERS FOR DELIVERY?
We offer unique flower arrangements in keepsake vases or wrapped in premium paper for pre-order pick up or local delivery in the Petaluma and the surrounding areas. These start at $75 and go up from there. Please contact us with any inquires regarding delivery arrangements or custom orders by giving us a call with your request.
